Forces: In Search of Power is book two of the young adult urban fantasy Kinetics Sequence series.
This story continues on from book one, and they should be read in order. I read book one six years ago and I would have loved a short recap of the story so far, as I found it hard to remember much about the initial story.
The tale takes place here on Earth and revolves around a war between various factions; most of them have Kinetic powers. Fifteen-year-old Eugene remains one of the main characters, but we also have some alternating chapters from others. Willow played a major role in book one and continues with her own journey here when she agrees to become a host for an alien.
